In 2015, Children’s Specialized Hospital continued to care for children with special healthcare needs and help them reach their full potential by impacting the services and programs provided to nearly 29,000 children and families served.
Children’s Specialized Hospital took its services and expertise to China, announcing its partnership with LIH Investment and Management, LLC. in order to bring children’s rehabilitative services to children in China.
While new endeavors began overseas, Children’s Specialized Hospital was recognized with multiple awards and designations for serving patients and families in Pediatric Primary Care and in its autism program. Ongoing efforts continued in research this year impacting the core areas of cognition, mobility, autism, brain injury, and chronic illness while Children’s Specialized Hospital expanded its partnership with The Kessler Foundation with a groundbreaking study utilizing robotic exoskeletons for children with traumatic brain injuries.
Through its many innovative programs, strategic priorities, and access to care, Children’s Specialized Hospital strives to make a significant impact in the community by releasing a brand awareness campaign to build name recognition. As a result of excellence, compassion, and innovation, we always partner with each patient and family and thank you for your abundant support of our work.
On behalf of the hospital Board of Trustees, I would like to express our immense appreciation and gratitude to Peggy Pego for taking on the leadership role of the hospital Board Chair this year.
